Team ASEC spent our last day giving back at North Country Food Bank. Together, we packed 660 boxes of food, totaling 21,450 pounds, to help support individuals and families in our region.
We're grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that makes such a difference in our communities. Thank you, North Country Food Bank, for the work you do every day!

Today we celebrated two remarkable women whose dedication, compassion, and service have left a lasting impact on ASEC, our member districts, and countless students and families.
Congratulations to Julie Yutrzenka on 26 outstanding years of service as an Occupational Therapist at ASEC and to Krystal Anderson on an incredible 40-year career in education, including the past six years with ASEC as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Thank you both for your unwavering commitment, advocacy, expertise, and care. Your influence will continue to be felt long after retirement, and ASEC is stronger because of each of you.

On Wednesday evening, ASEC DHH Teacher Kelsy was honored as the Red Lake Falls Friend of Education through the Kramer-Brown Intermediate Organization. This recognition reflects the strong impact she has made on students and staff. Jennifer Wieland shared a meaningful message highlighting Kelsy’s passion and dedication, and she was nominated by multiple teachers for this award.
While Kelsy is not currently assigned to the Red Lake Falls school district, her commitment to the students and community remains strong. She continues to show up in many ways, including chaperoning the 5th-grade trip to Deep Portage, helping with volleyball, supporting the drama program, collaborating with staff, and stepping in whenever needed.
Kelsy believes in the power of relationships, compassion, and collaboration. Congratulations, Kelsy, and thank you for the difference you make!
